    Thomas Vaughan(1621–1666)

    Welsh natural philosopher, alchemist, and twin brother of the poet Henry Vaughan. Writing under the pseudonym Eugenius Philalethes, he produced a series of treatises on Hermetic philosophy, the prima materia, and the recovery of Adamic knowledge. His works blend Paracelsian chemistry, Rosicrucian themes, and mystical cosmology.
